My Why

A few years ago, I found myself stuck in a pattern. As a full-time mother, I poured all my energy into my family, constantly juggling responsibilities, always striving to be everything for everyone. I had always taken pride in being dependable, present, and nurturing. But somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself an important question: What about me?

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was moving through life on autopilot. My days were full, yet something was missing. I had lost touch with what truly lit me up, what made me feel most like myself. I was so focused on fulfilling my role as a mother that I wasn’t tuning into what I needed and wanted based on my own core attributes.

Rediscovering Who I Was

Looking back, I can see the signs. I’ve always been deeply intuitive, driven by curiosity, and naturally inclined to help people see their own potential. I loved deep conversations about purpose, growth, and transformation. I thrived in spaces where I could support others in stepping into their best selves.

But instead of leaning into those strengths, I was suppressing them. I had unconsciously adopted the belief that being a good mother meant putting my own passions and needs aside. I wasn’t fully honoring my core values—authenticity, honesty, freedom, autonomy, community, and fun. I valued personal evolution, yet I wasn’t creating space for my own. I believed in living a life aligned with purpose, yet I was following a routine that left little room for my own fulfillment.

Making the Shift

Something had to change. So, little by little, I started making shifts:

✔️ I carved out time for my own passions, even in small ways—reading, reflecting, moving my body, and rediscovering what truly excited me.

✔️ I set boundaries and let go of guilt around prioritizing myself, realizing that taking care of me wasn’t selfish—it was necessary.

✔️ I started aligning my choices with what truly mattered to me, not just what I thought I was “supposed” to be doing.

These small shifts had a profound effect. I felt lighter, more energized, and more connected to myself than I had in years. And in that space of reconnection, something powerful happened—I discovered my next chapter.

Turning My Journey into My Life’s Work

As I deepened my self-awareness, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many high achievers—leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, parents—were experiencing the same thing. They were outwardly successful but inwardly disconnected. They were giving their all to others but losing touch with themselves in the process.

Today, I coach high achievers who feel overwhelmed and disconnected, guiding them to lead with confidence without sacrificing their wellbeing.
